Turn off CB Activity Tags

Hello CB, I have tried and failed to turn off tag usage in cb activity.

CB Activity -> parameters -> activity -> tags = disabled.

Auto Actions -> system actions -> CB activity - Tag = unpublished.

Tab Management -> activity -> parameters -> tags = disable.

What I am looking for is to disable them, if someone used #xyz there would not be any link and it wouldn't do it's usual awesome function.

Any ideas?

#STRING is a hashtag. Tags are tagging connections in a post. You can't disable #hashtags or @mentions usages as they're built into the string parsing with no parameters to disable (no plans for such parameters at this time).
