Problem with hiding tabs.

Hey Kyle,

I have problems with hiding a critical field during registration of normal users ( munich.international-friends.net/cb-registration/registers "Type of Business"). This field is supposed to be only visible in the case that the user has decided to take a subscription (available via a different URL).

I have used CB subs Field Tab Protection and it did not work. Since the descriptions dont really make sense for registration, I have just tried enabling all of them but the field is still there in registration...

Hiding this field is critical since I have built conditionals on top of it that give access to a lot of the website...

CBSubs Fields Tabs Protection doesn't do anything on registration. You need to use the hide fields feature under the workflows tab of your plans directly.

Yup and here we come to the problem that I have not understood (tried the above already). The tab needs to be there during plan registration, but hidden if the plan is NOT chosen (ie normal registration). Just checked again and all I can do is HIDE FIELD IF PLAN IS CHOSEN.

I need to do the opposite: show field if plan is chosen.

There is no show field if plan is chosen feature in CBSubs. You'd need a plan that is accessible to hide the fields. This can typically be done with a free lifetime plan or something of the sort.

OK, that is quite a roundabout way and involved a lot of screaming at the computer (I had set the plan subscriptions as "Not on registration" since I do not want normal users to know that it is a subscription site).

I will find a way to make it look nicer now and to somehow disguise that it is a subscription based website.
