Upgrade problems - multiple error messages was created by joanie57

I made a terrible mistake, I think. I didn't read the information about upgrading Joomla 2.5 to 3.4 and CB 1.9 to 2.0. I did the Joomla upgrade first. Then I was going to upgrade CB 1.9 to 2.0. I couldn't find any way to upgrade the existing installation, so I tried to simply install CB 2.0. All I got was a full page of error messages on a plain white screen.

Is there any way to fix this mess other than start over with my backup of my J2.5 site and upgrade CB first?

You'll probably need to revert to your backup then upgrade CB first. See the below video regarding CB 1.x to CB 2.x. You will have quite some manual work going through your install to ensure the CB migration was successful.
