[SOLVED] Weird problem with CB AJAX field plugin

Hey Kyle,

I have a very weird problem when I edit any CB field (or rate a field). It shows up another field on top of it (an empty one).

It used to work though. Here is a screenshot of what I mean (focus on the middle field in the screenshot (What do we do?)... it is a simple text field...). I have just edited it and it shows an empty field with the stuff that I have changed written underneath the field. The same happens when editing and rating the fields.

Please ensure your install is up to date. Refer to the below page for latest releases. Install nightly releases where available (including CB 2.x).

Beyond that you need to highly what the issue is as I'm just seeing an ajax field displaying its edit view and CB Core Fields Ajax is working fine in all my tests. Note you do not need to ajax edit rating fields as they are already ajax.

The picture above does NOT show the Editing of the AJAX field, it shows the state of the field after the AJAX editing has occured. Please note the text that is written underneath the field.

Also, somehow AJAX userlist editing cannot deal with required fields anymore. The field that I have edited in the below picture (taken after the edit) is a date field.

Actually, it tells me "Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token {"

Update both CB Query Field and CB Code Field to latest releases if installed. There's a bug in one of their releases that causes ajax responses to break in general, but is fixed in their latest releases. Again, please review the below page carefully and ensure you are absolutely up to date.

I am unable to confirm any issues with ajax usage with latest releases.
