I have a fairly mature client site that was updated from J1.5 > J2.5 > J3.4 along with all CBSubs versions by me. I had massive issues with the last upgrade but all seems well (now) except for this one little issue.
I restricted content on a Consultants Directory to registered members only. Org Paid Membership
wasn't necessary to view the content, just a simple registration available through CB Subs. The simple registration is offered as a plan but no payment is required.
The problem is/was that
no one could access the directory (except the superuser, me.) I have several accounts and tried to access the content using just a registered member and kept getting the restriction message. Then it would say I have to upgrade (with a button) and I did and nothing happened. The Consultants Directory was still restricted.
I currently have the content unrestricted because I was getting grief over this issue but I'd love to figure out why that simple registration wouldn't open this content up. Signing up for a member plan (of any sort) imparts ACL Registered access (via CB Subs) but no one, as mentioned, could access this content under any circumstances.
Any thoughts?
