For that you need to modify the template files as you've discovered, but I do not recommend modifying the default template files. First create a new folder called "mytemplate" for example. Next copy tab.php and index.html from the default template folder into your "mytemplate" folder. Next within CB > Plugin Management > CB Blogs > Parameters change the Template to "mytemplate". Now modify tab.php as needed. This will prevent your changes from being lost on upgrades, etc.. The alternative is to restyle the button entirely with CSS.
Default Template Path:
components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbblogs/templates/default/
Is there actually forum support at all on this site??
As explained in your other topic you posted outside of business hours. See my signature for business hours. I get to posts as soon as possible on the following business day after a weekend (Monday).
I don't know why you view it as negative to finding your own solutions. I would hope our search functionality was also utilized as modifying plugin template files has also been explained several times. We're also working on a new website where providing documentation and tutorial resources will be significantly easier and better organized.
