What limits the speed if I use CB, GroupJive and Kunena?

Dedicated Server:
Linux oder Windows?
CPU?
RAM?
Connection?

For Example:
AMD HexCore 6x 2,8Ghz - 16GB DDR3 - 100Mbit/s -> What is the limiting factor?
Intel Xeon E3-1270 V3 4x 3,5Ghz - 16GB DDR3 - 100Mbit/s -> What is the limiting factor?

I know that you cant answer 100%, but I think you have experience?

All of those are a factor to server performance. I'm not really sure what you're asking here. Are you running into a performance problem? Neither of the servers should have issues; they're both well beyond what you'll need for a typical site. CB and GJ work fine even on budget shared hosting.
