CB GroubJive auto category assignment on create group

Hello,

we don't want our users to choose the category when they create a new Group. We've crated a category for every user-group we have (e.g. user-group: registered --> category: registered). And instead of the user has to choose the category 'registered', the group should be automatically assigned to this category on creation and the category field should be hidden.

Is there any possibility to do so?

Edit the categories that you don't want to allow group create access within GJ > Categories and set "Create Access" to "Disabled". They should then only have access to create groups in the categories of your choosing. If there's only 1 category available it will default to that. You can use CSS to hide the input as well I suppose.
