Hello,
I am using Active Directory with JMapMyLDAP for authentication, I've a problem with the first connexion
Community Builder Login module is used
For existing users > Ok
When a user attempt to connect the site for the first time :
the account is auto-created in Joomla but not in CB
the redirect page is /login/login with error message "Incorrect email or password. Please try again"
But refreshing the page and the user is connected with the error message "Your sign up process is not yet complete! [ ….. ] logging in again to receive a new instructions email " and in the same time the user account is created in community builder (with all enable, activated and approved on YES)
Note that in CB configuration the following options are set to :
GENERAL > Login field type : user name, emaim and authentication plugin
I've only tested the LDAP plugin that comes with Joomla. We do not support any other LDAP plugins as I've no idea how they're coded and if they properly follow Joomlas standard for coding authentication plugins.
Please ensure "Login Method" is set to "Username, Email Address, or CMS Authentication Plugins" within CB > Configuration > General. If it already is then my guess is the one you're using stops after it creates the user in Joomla so CBs login process never completes causing it to fail to create the user in CB.

Posting this to old LDAP threads, just as a convenience to Joomla LDAP authentication plugin users:
If you are using the LDAP authentication plugin of Joomla in Joomla 1.5 through 3.7.5: Stop what you are doing and Update immediately to Joomla 3.8.0 (LDAP-security release) !
If you don't understand what LDAP is, then it's not an issue for you (you should sure upgrade to Joomla 3.8, but it's not as urgent).
