Understanding the groupjive MySQL tables

Hi Kyle,

I am trying to understand the MySQL tables of groupjive. I think I have done but please confirm:
New entry gets incremented on ID. Published, Groups ID and User ID are clear.

The entry in REPLY indicates if the post is a reply and to which entry ID it belongs to.

Did I understand that right?

PS: I am exporting all my FB group conversation and trying to put it all on group jive. Would give 1000s of pages of original content in one go...

Btw, the export with Grytics gives an amazing detail of ideas on how FB built up their MySQL tables in order to provide the services they do. If you want I can send it to you.

Sounds like you're referring to the _groupjive_plugin_wall table specifically. ID is the auto increment column. Your imports simply should just not specify that column at all and it'll auto increment. user_id is the user id of the user who made the post and have no idea how you plan to link the FB post user to a Joomla user. group is of course the GJ group id the post is in. reply is the ID of another post that it's replying to (so the post it's replying to must exist first). post is of course the post contents. date is the date the post was created. published is simple -1 (pending approval), 1 (published), or 0 (unpublished).
