When Updating User Group - Internal Server Error

8 years 8 months ago #288492 by flappleton
I am using BE User Management to update the "Group" of a user from "Registered" to "Primary Owner". Although the update is working, I receive an "Internal Server Error" (message is attached).

I can supply credentials if you need to login.

Enable debug mode and maximum error reporting in Joomla global configuration then retry and see if any error outputs. If none then check server error log. Most likely something 3rd party installed is acting on Joomla user save event and causing that or possibly a mod_security problem.

There are no apparent Joomla Errors with the settings at Maximum.

I have attached the server log. There is a warning and an error for each incidence. The end of file.

I appreciate your help.

No file appears to be attached. You can supply just the one instance of the repeating error. Mainly the error, its file path, and its line number will be of most use.

Please contact your host and have them check mod_security logs. Neither of those entries are showing an issue other than the script was told to stop by the server.
