[SOLVED] CB auto actions - detect on user update profile if a field value change.

Hi team,

Using the plugin auto actions, I try to detect if a user change the value of a field (redirect_email) regarding to the stored value.

I try to preceed as following but without success :

Tigger : OnBeforeUserUpdate
Conditions : [cb_redirect_email] Not egal to [post_cb_redirect_email]

I found the [post_VALUE] in CB Field Integrations Conditionals Tab Parameters
but not sure it works in this plugin

When modifying the field (redirect email) or not, the action does not proceed.

Is there a way to do this?

For the profile update triggers you need to compare raw database var1 and var3 values. Example as follows.

[var1_cb_redirect_email] Not Equal To [var3_cb_redirect_email]

Variable 1 for the profile update trigger is the new and up to date user object. Variable 3 is the old user object before the changes were made. You however probably should be using the onAfterUserUpdate trigger unless you're needing to alter the user object before it's saved. Note that trigger is for frontend only if you need it for backend as well then you also need to select onAfterUpdateUser in Triggers.
