Hello I have a list with my users and currently published for a directory like search, i require the formatname option to be searchable (already everyone is registered so no need to edit their names, the formatname option is enough) But on the fields tab i cant make the formatname searchable within the list, cant even make it show it on the list itself, even if i select it the column is empty but if i see someone's profile the name is right there.
Probably making something wrong, appreciate some help. Regards.
The formatname field can not be searched. It's a calculated field that's just displaying Name, Username, or combination of First, Middle, and Last Names based off your configuration in CB > Configuration > General. In short you need to make those fields searchable instead.
