Got a question I couldn't find any information on in the documentation on your site. It has to do with the following setting in Auto Actions.
My guess on how this works is that if I have a module that produces some string I want to use in the following example, I could actually use the syntax {loadposition myspecialmodule} instead of having a CB Custom HTML field defined that gets it for me as I did below.
Is my understanding correct? Could I do this?
Thanks,
Bruce

Enabling content plugins passes the content through Joomla content plugins. So yes you could load a module into a query, but that'd be dangerous to do unless you can 110% guarantee what you're loading in is SQL safe. Regular substitutions at least will be forced through escaping. That escaping is not applied to content plugins.

In this case the module returns a date string in the same format being used in the database table, so it's totally compatible. Using the loadposition plugin directly in the auto-action code avoids me having to create a CB field to bring it into the query.
