Background:
I'm trying to get private messaging to work on my CB site.
It seemed like uddeIM needed to be installed first.
This resulted in error: "JInstaller: :Install: Can't find XML setup file."
Then I looked further and found that uddeIM is no longer being supported/upgraded for new Joomla.
My question:
Is there another way to get private messaging to work with CB -- whether with an independent plugin, or some/any other method?
At this time you'll need UddeIM for private messaging. You only need to install its Joomla component as CB includes a Private Message System plugin that integrations with UddeIM. If you've any issues installing UddeIM please post to the below forums.
