This problem started happening recently. Using CB in the back-end, I get randomly redirected to the back-end home with no error message.
It does not happen at the same point every time. It has happened after setting up a user search, after clicking on the mass mailer button, and several other places.
I wish I could provide more info. It doesn't seem to happen with other components.
That can happen if the form POST data is lost somehow. The backend path to the component is part of the POST data and not the form URL so if the data is lost it'll send you to home page. Can also happen if permissions are not set correctly and you don't have permission to access a view, but that wouldn't happen randomly. As for what could be causing the POST data to be lost it could be a server configuration issue not allowing enough input data, could be a 3rd party extension altering the data, or could be a broken FORM element. Without a means to reliably reproduce the issue there isn't really a way to debug what specifically is causing it.
