[SOLVED] Grouped field fails again was created by rbuelund
I have had this problem before, and now it is all of a sudden back again.
I have a grouped field with the date type field. I can add two dates to the grouped field, but when I wanna add the third, is just erases the first value when saving !!???
Has this something to do with PHP settings, when saving a user list page with a lot of grouped fields ?

It is the same problem as I had here: www.joomlapolis.com/forum/professional-members-support/245209-field-group-bug?start=12#330839
So why is this happening again now - on the same site ??

On of the users for whom I cannot store more than two dates has this in the grouped field in database: {"2":{"cb_teammode":"2023-01-19"},"1":{"cb_teammode":"2023-04-12"}}
Should it be 1 first and then 2 ?? Or does that not matter ??

Ensure the database column for that field is Text type and not JSON (no longer used) as JSON type will do goofy thing like that since it messes with JSON array indexes. CB > Tools strict field type tool should be able to look for and fix this as well.

If you're using custom templates for the field group be sure you update your templates as well by comparing against defaults as somethings did change in them.

Should it be 1 first and then 2 ?? Or does that not matter ??

The order doesn't matter there.

If issue persists please PM backend super user login credentials with steps to reproduce your issue and will take a look as am unable to reproduce in my test environments.

I now use the default field layout - still the same problem. I see this POST request when saving the field:

The seems to be two values with the same id number: _2_  and therefor only two dates are stored ??

Please PM backend super user login credentials with steps to reproduce your issue and will take a look as am unable to reproduce in my test environments. Not sure what's causing the incrementing to fail in your scenario.
