CB Conditional problem

CB Conditional problem was created by aalisg
Hello,

We are going on our transfer from a Joomla! 3 to a Joomla! 4 website, in particular the Community Builder data.

In Community Builder there are fields which displaying depends on some parameters and for that we use the CB Conditional plugin. For the sign up, there are no problems, the fields are either displayed or hidden when required.

But, we have a problem with the Community Builder backend view of the users with these fields. In fact, as we are cleaning the database, when we try to save a user profile after modifications all these fileds which displaying relies on some parameters are required to be fill in.

Is there something new with CB conditional plugin and joomla! 4 that we missed?

Regards,

CB Conditional doesn't apply to backend by default to allow you to manage those fields. You can enable it to do so within CB Conditional plugin parameters. However a better option is to just turn off backend field validations so you can manage that data without dealing with validations. To do this set "Fields Validation in User Management" to "No" in CB > Configuration > User Profile.
