CB Search Bot for J4 was created by uwe2023
Hi,
is it possible that the CB Search Bot doesn´t work as it should? I´ve installed it, I´ve choosed the searchable fields and the serach area (Users), but the Joomla Search gives no output. Is there anything else to consider?

We do not have any integration with Smart Search as smart search is an indexer. We've too many access permissions and privacy checks to allow searching pre-indexed data as it'll result in private data leaking. I don't have a workaround for this yet.
Regarding CB Search Bot you have to install the legacy search component from JED as it's no longer included with Joomla 4 by default. However for searching users it's best to use a userlist.
