Seems like Invites sent from Profile work for external email addresses (non-members), but Invites sent from the Group will reach existing members only.
Is this correct?
We would like to invite external users from both, Profile and Group. Is this possible?

GJ invites don't require a user. Simply supply the email address when creating the GJ invite and it will invite them to join the group. Be sure within CB GroupJive > Parameters > Invites you have "Email Address" selected in "Invite By". This does not integrate with CB Invites though so it will not generate them an invite code. It's probably possible to do that through using CB Auto Actions and CB Invites code, but that requires experience with PHP to write.
