OK. Well, I guess we wanted a pre-fill  registration only if they don't already have an account with that email.   I haven't tested the "Invite Required" option yet, but that's the only time I'd want a pre-filled registration.

Client is asking about WhatsApp. Is that coming?

Will review changing it to send to login if the email is already registered when using pre-filled.

Client is asking about WhatsApp. Is that coming?

As far as I'm aware that only works for mobile apps with native APIs. It's not available for web use. So no there are no plans for WhatsApp. We do provide Facebook and Instagram login though.

I see however there is a way to send a message to a WhatsApp user.    See sending messages here:

My client would like LINE too:
developers.line.biz/en/docs/messaging-api/sending-messages/

This is really a question outside of CB Connect.  We are seeing a growing number of people who don't use email.

I am just wondering if it will be possible in the future to use contact addresses that are not strictly email addresses.

There's no plans to support sending a mobile message or app message. You'd need to implement that yourself. CB Connects sole purpose is just to provide single sign on (SSO).

What I can review implementing is for it to not require email address. So for example an option that just uses a dummy email address for the account.
