Currently we are imposing member limits on two groups (free & paid).
I am thinking of changing the model and offering member increments of 500 for additional monthly fee.
Is this possible? If yes, please advise.
Not sure what you mean by member limits. Can you be more specific about what you're wanting to add limits to?

Sorry, for the mix up. We offer communities, which in the backend are CB Groups. In this case, community members would be the users in a group.
So, can we limit the number of users in a Group (community)?
There's no functionality for limiting the number of users that can join a group. It's possible to restrict this using CB Auto Actions, but things like the Join buttons would still be visible and upon clicking would have to output a custom error you provide (e.g. "Sorry, this group appears to be full at this time!"). If that's acceptable I can provide some CB Auto Actions instructions for doing this.
