Enable debug mode under the Parameters tab then save your profile. It'll output messages where the processed stopped or if there were errors in the auto action. It looks like you're first saving the field to empty then saving to D1 though? Is there a reason for this?

They'll output as part of Joomla's message queue. So would be at the top of whatever page you're on after registering or saving profile. This assumes there were any errors or conditions failing. Based off the screenshots though you should not be setting the field to empty then immediately setting it to a value. Instead just set it to your value.
It's also possible you have something else going on that's interrupting this process. Do you have a redirect action on those same triggers?

I tried this but nothing was displayed. I'm going to disable all the other auto actions since they may be conflicting with the one I'm trying to do. I clear out the field to remove whatever is in the field prior to population it.
Ok, we have success now - unpublishing all the other auto actions allowed this to work (35 of them), so obviously one of the other auto actions is kicking in and overriding the one I'm trying to get working. I'll start enabling them one at a time until I can identify the culprit auto action.
