Hi,
Is there any chance that I can get CB to use my Joomla Template?

If not: where can I change the formatting of fields, titles, font etc. to look sowewhat similar?

I also need to change the distance between the field as it doesnt look good at all.

Kind regards
Peter

Within CB > Configuration > Integrations set "Bootstrap (Frontend)" to "Bootstrap 5 Compatibility" and "FontAwesome (Frontend)" to "FontAwesome 6 Compatibility". This will cause CB to just inherit Bootstrap and FontAwesome styling from Joomla. Your Joomla template will need to either be Bootstrap 5 (included with Joomla 4, 5, and 6) or at least load it and need to load FontAwesome 6 (included with Joomla 4, 5, and 6).

Thank you, that worked fine!
Now I can at least address the margins outside of the modules.

Is there also a possibility that the CB template takes over my Joomla font settings, headings, colors etc?
If not, is there a list for me as a non-programmer to understand how to write the overrides?

Kindly
Peter

You mean have CB style Joomla? No, CB doesn't style outside of itself. With the compatibility modes CB will inherit everything from Joomla as much as possible when it comes to Bootstrap.

You can over CB CSS using CSS overrides shown below.

www.joomlapolis.com/blog/kyle/18711-template-css-overrides-made-easy

You can also generate custom templates for CB using CB Template Changer below.

www.joomlapolis.com/addons/cb-template-changer

For Joomla the below documentation shows how to add custom CSS to your Joomla template. Note the documentation link is for J3, but the process is the same still.

docs.joomla.org/J3.x:Adding_a_custom_CSS_with_Protostar

This should let you style your site rather freely. You don't need extensive coding knowledge, but you'll need to know the basics of CSS.
