Incorrect datetime value: 'now' for column "date' at row 1

2 days 15 hours ago - 2 days 13 hours ago #342313 by Intellitech
Hi, when we update a profile from frontend, we get this error displayed.
It seems MySQL is looking for 'datetime value', but the script is inserting a literal 'now'.
We are on the latest version of Joomla and Community Builder.
We are also on:
PHP version 8.2Mysql version 8.0.44

Strange. Profiles don't have a "date" column.

So it's likely coming from a CB plugin or Joomla plugin that acts on Joomla user store. Do you have any auto actions in CB Auto Actions acting on profile save? If so try disabling those and retry. Is CB Profile Update Logger installed? If so try disabling it and retry. Basically work your way through installed plugins and retry saving to see if the issue goes away. Should only need to unpublish, save, see if error is still there, then republish.

If issue persists after going through your CB plugins it's likely a 3rd party Joomla user or system plugin in System > Manage > Plugins.

Hi Kyle, OK tried unpublishing auto actions 1 by 1 and also disabling Profile Update Logger.
The error still persists. Can you help identify which 3rd party Joomla plugin it might be?
This is not a new site and no new components/plugins have been installed in the lead up to this error.
We only updated Joomla and extensions to the latest.

You'd need to check if you've any 3rd party Joomla user or system plugins in Extensions > Manage > Plugins and unpublish them and retry saving. Something is acting on user save causing your issue.

We have another issue on the same site.
We cannot import any data even after choosing to override existing entries and checking the date formatting.
This is the error received.

Looks like you're providing an invalid date for that field. It needs to be SQL formatted as 0000-00-00 or at least in a format PHP can understand.
