Code field use in Custom HTML field

I use php inside of Custom HTML fields. Right now, I need to have an older plugin (DirectPHP) turned on in order for php code to work (otherwise it just shows the php code).
DirectPHP plugin is not supported in Joomla 5 or 6 - but it still works.
Can I use the CB Code Field in a Custom HTML field as a tag or something similar?

You can substitute the CB Code Field into a CB Content Module and that should solve your issue of depending on that plugin.
