There's no plans to add a visual for that as it's visible in the dropdown and during edit. However in latest build release I've added a CSS class (the "galleryUnpublished" class) to containers for unpublished albums and media, which you can use to add whatever CSS you'd like to make them stand out however you like (or insert an icon somewhere).
