In CB Login, there is a toggle to display if there is new private message and it is very useful while the user is not on the profile page. Unfortunatly, there is no mean to display if there is new notifications.... Is it easy to add this ?
As an alternative, is there a way to display notification icon and message icon in all pages (not only on profile page) ? Maybe using CB module but i am not familiar with this
CB Activity Module can display the notification icon anywhere you like. Navigate to Content > Site Modules then click the New button followed by selecting "CB Activity" as the module type. Now set "Mode" to "Notifications" and you're all set. Then place it in whatever module position you want and on whatever pages you like.
