On my site in developpement, I need to use @mention feature. When I type @ then 1 letter ( such as @M) no list is popping. If i delete ( backspace) the letter then write again, the list appear. Did you met this case already ?
Should appear roughly instantly depending on the performance of your site. It has to call an API endpoint on your site to return a list of valid mentions so your server and site performance is pretty important in that regard. See out demo site for example (login as User and type @s) where it takes roughly 100-200ms for a response after typing.

I understand this but it is not the behavior i have. At first attempt ( typing @X) nothing happen even if i wait. It works after ~100ms at 2nd attempt ( deleting X then typing X again) . Can be a conflict with something in my site ?
How long are you waiting to decide that first attempt failed? More than likely what's happening is the first attempt is your second attempt as the HTTP request happens in the backend and caches. So on your second attempt you're pulling from the cache. In a future release there will be some predictive behavior for mentions to pull from an instant cache, but right now it's very very dependent on server performance.

Yes Its look to be something like that ( question of cache...). At 1st attempt i can wait, nothing happens. I always need to delete back (keeping the @) then type again and it works immediatly.
I just checked on the Joomlapolis demo site, and it is same on my side ( i use Chrome)
