Hi !
I try to makes hashtag parsing working on the activity streams ( recent and profile) but cannot. What I know :
Parsing is working for links and mentions
The hashtag parsing toggle is activated for all activity streams
I tried on your demo site, it is working
I tried with Cassiopea template it is not working ( i deduce it is not a template issue)
I tried to unpublish many plugins to check if any conflict without success
When pressing # then typing the dropdown doesn't appear for you? A hashtag can only be alphanumeric with special characters. If you press space the hashtag ends. So something like #communitybuilder should work fine for example. This might be similar to your @mentions issue where the dropdown isn't showing properly for you there either.

, I investigated a bit and found something (which has nothing to do with the @mention pop-up issue):
By comparing to the CB demo site, I reactivated some options that I don't want to use such as reactions, stickers, flairs... and the hashtags worked on my site !
So i deactivated one by one and i can state that it is the desactivation of "stickers" which seems to be origin of problem...
I've now released a fixed build release of CB Activity fixing this. Thank you!
