Solved/ Backend: Impossible to display images in users plug_cbgallery's folder

3 days 19 hours ago - 3 days 19 hours ago #342936 by Toulouzing
Hi !
In Frontend, User's photo (jpg) are displayed correctly in their respectives galleries. However, in backend, while digging in the media/comprofiler/plug_cbgallery , the images looks like corrupted,  see capture below.

From frontend I cannot open it, it is in error 403. I cannot download it there is an error ( see capture below). If i download from FTP, the images are OK. I checked the access rights to folder, its OK too.

CB Gallery media is protected. They can't be directly accessed. They must be accessed through CB Gallery.

These days user media doesn't belong in the images folder since Joomla added a media folder, but CB Gallery existed before Joomla added the media folder. In a future release we'll move CB Gallery media to Joomla's media folder once we change our minimum Joomla requirements.
