I've populated the CB Content module with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to capture actions from the recent activity stream and display them in the module. This works very well. Unfortunately, I'm having a permissions issue that I can't resolve. When I'm logged into my site, the module works as expected. When I'm not logged in, I only see the empty box.
What settings do I need to configure so that the content is displayed publicly even without logging in?
Not sure I understand exactly what you're doing here. There shouldn't be permission issues if you're just pulling content client side from available content on the page. Did you check to make sure there's activity that's publicly available? A lot can influence whether activity is public or not. For example profile activity is subject to profile view access level in CB > Configuration > User Profile, to the Activity tab access in CB > Tab Management, and even privacy controls on the tab, the profile, or the individual activity itself.
I'd recommend just making a new stream that displays what you're wanting instead of trying to clone over content client side using javascript then you can render it with a CB Activity Module or inline using CB Activity Bot via Content Plugin substitution.
