#1 CB Activity/Parameters/Notifications : I do not catch the difference between the "Comments" section just after "Profile" enabling notifs while commenting (or reply to comments) and the Comments setting in the "Activity Stream" section ( which a bit more restrictive but there is also comments setting for galleries content media).
One applies to all comment streams while the other applies to just activity post comments.
#2 CB GroupJive/Parameters/Notifications : I understood that setting Notifications to YES enable the user to switch some additional notification as per the list in Default tab. Not sure i am right. But i do not really understand the content of information bubble ("This will not disable some core notifications such as group join approval...."), core notifications are the one which cannot be set because mandatory i suppose ?
That just turns on or off group notifications. Users subscribe to those notifications individually after joining a group. The Defaults tab lets you select the default for those notifications on join. No you cannot make any of those mandatory.
#3 CB GroupJive/Parameters/Notifications : Notify By Private message/email - I suppose it is related to the notifications mentionned above so, those notifications are not using the activity stream notifications system but only PMS ( or email).
Correct, but CB Activity can override that behavior. That's the purpose of the CB Activity > Parameters > Notifications > CB GroupJive > Notifications parameter.
#4 Where and how to set Group events notifications which can occurs in group management such as new event, update of event, invitation to join an event.... it seems it is not covered by the notifications mentionned above ?
Within the CB GroupJive Events plugin parameters. GJ plugins are all compartmentalized. So they're all configured within their respective plugins.
