CB Database import was created by bmeeker
I upgraded a site over the years and the site has a great CB setup, but I cannot get the TinyMCE to work properly. This account, probably since it has been updated from Joomla version to Joomla version will only show the old, plain version of TinyMCE. It will not show the newer version with the newer options.
If you know how to fix that - great, I'd love to just get that fixed to try to use it. I am using JCE now, and it has its own issues - maybe tied to the same upgrade issues. You have tried to help me several times with JCE.
Other option, If I create a new site using the same Joomla version, etc., can I import my CB fields, lists, etc for the new site so I do not have to try to re-create?
Let me know what you suggest.

Navigate to Systems > Manage > Extensions. Search for TinyMCE. Then just uninstall it (if there's more than 1 then uninstall all of them). Now go to System > Update > Joomla and click "Reinstall Joomla! core files". If you don't see that click Check For Updates, let it finish, then reload the page. That should reinstall TinyMCE and any core files you might be missing. Note if you modified core Joomla files those changes are about to be lost so please make a full backup first.

Now that that's done take a look at TinyMCE and see if you're still having any issues.

Other option, If I create a new site using the same Joomla version, etc., can I import my CB fields, lists, etc for the new site so I do not have to try to re-create?

Easiest way to do that is ensure the two Joomla versions are the same. So Joomla 6 to Joomla 6. Then just directly move over relevant database tables using whatever database management software you have (e.g. phpmyadmin).
