On our client site we need to test the registration process and use the dummy gateway. Obviously we can't login and use the user group setting as it needs to be a new registration so we have some instances of real members putting their live details in to the form without realising - despite it being marked as DUMMY DO NOT USE. These then need to be chased up for payment.
Could the dummy gateway have an option to restrict it's use to an admin IP address only?
I don't recommend having test gateways on a live site. You should have 2 environments. 1 for production and 1 for development. Test on development and once verified make the changes to production. There are no plans to implement ip address restrictions for gateways at this time.
