repeating userid was created by huntrdog
Suddenly, (or I just noticed) profile userid fields are duplicating themselves upon each profile save inside the name field, even when manually removed prior to saving. I have Community Builder → Configuration → General set to "name only." I'm certain there is a setting somewhere that is causing this action, but thusfar, Ive been unsuccessful in locating it. Can you please direct me to the related documentation? Perhaps I'm not the first, and you know right away what I've set incorrectly?

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

I'm not sure I understand the issue. You're saying every time you save your profile the name field appends itself onto itself? Something like the below?

Name: John
Save
Name: John John
Save
Name: John John John

I'm not sure how that'd even be possible without deliberately implementing something to do that. For example an auto action could cause that if you set one up to save the name field.

Thank you for the quick reply.

Yes, what you described is exactly what is happening.

This is a migrated site, and in doing so, the new website has two of all of the basic fields (2 name fields, 2 formatted name, 2 first name, etc). The duplicate fields were not published. At some point, the second name field was published, and I cannot figure how to unpublish it. While I'm not certain this is causing the issue, I think it is a possibility.

I do not have the auto actions plug-in installed.

Crisis averted. I was able to unpublish the second name field, and now things are back to normal.

I'm not sure how it was possible for you to have duplicate core fields, but I'd recommend just deleting them in _comprofiler_fields database table. The duplicates with the highest fieldid would be the invalid ones.
