I see no documentation (only a short getting started) for this plugin - where do I find that ? I have installed the plugin but see no CBSubs integration plugin ??
I have not had the time to create documentation for CB Package Builder. All of its parameters are well described and our demo site provides setup examples.
The CBSubs integration is included with the download. It should already be installed and within CB > Plugin Management as CBSubs Package Builder. When configuring a package it's parameters are under Integration > CBSubs Package Builder where you can select plans to apply to your package.
If any parameters are unclear please let me know and will be happy to clarify. I can also provide an example package configuration if you'd like.

I'm not sure what you mean by Joomla native download. Do you mean without the package installer? You can turn off the package installer within CB Package Builder > Parameters > General by setting "Bundle Type" to "ZIP".

I'm still unsure what you mean by that. You mean as a Joomla update server endpoint?
Within CB Package Builder > Parameters > Versions > Checker you can enable the Joomla version checker and there it'll provide the Joomla version collections endpoint that provides the endpoint for Joomla version checking. Joomla doesn't like query strings for that though and I recommend wrapping that URL with a CDN for efficiency.
