How to force password change

Hi, i remember that you have some function that enbles one to force reset of password on first time and/or periodically.
Who can point me to such a solution - that enables us to to so.

We just use Joomla for that. So whatever settings you set for password resetting in Users > Manage > Options should work fine. You can also toggle users to reset their passwords within CB > User Management using the Batch Tool to reset multiple users at once or by simply editing them and adjusting the Reset Password field.

Which parameter for what? To force passwords to be reset? You can do that from CB > User Management or Users > Manage. Either one is fine. When editing a user in Users > Manage it's called "Require Password Reset". When editing a user in CB > User Management it's called "Reset Password". If you want to reset multiple users then in CB > User Management select the users you want to be reset, click Batch Tools, adjust the "- Select Require Password Reset -" parameter, then click the Process button. Same feature is available in Users > Manage from the Actions dropdown. Again either one works so use whichever you prefer. On next login attempt they'll be forced to reset their password.

As for settings within Users > Manage > Options > Password Options the settings there are respected.

If you're wanting to schedule password resets every X days or something like that I don't think that feature exists in Joomla. That's doable with CB Auto Actions and CRON or Scheduled Task though. There might be a plugin specifically for that on the JED s well.
