If you're wanting the categories to be completely hidden then that's not what the URL protection does and for that you need to use ACL.

You are right - I was confused in that I thought the URL protection should completely hide the forum categories. Yes, it works fine now - thanks so much for your efforts in fixing this -- much appreciated!! :cheer:
