I just did a new installation of Joomla 1.0.10 and Community Builder 1.0 RC 1.

The user registration works; however, when the newly registered user tries to log-in a plain error page is displayed saying "You are not authorized to view this page."

It is not even a Joomla error page.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

CB is the only component installed so far.

make sure you running with the cb login mod, and the joomla login mod disabled? make sure sef is disabled in the globals tab.

I had the standard login disabled and the CB login enabled.

The SEF urls were off, but the Dynamic Page Titles were on. I disabled that.

Now the login halfway works. Now when a user logs in a Javascript window pops up stating "You are not authorized to view this resource", but at least a Joomla page is displaying.

Is there a fix for this?

i also cant get new users to register.
i have ticked 'Create account' in the mod_cblogin, but it doesnt show under the login mod on the page, everything else is shown, Lost Password/PMOS messages etc, but no 'click here to register; link.

Check the Joomla global configuration for

Allow User Registration

. If user registration is disabled in joomla, it will not show up in the module even if cblogin is configured to show the text.

I struggled with this for a little bit before realizing it. It now works for me.
