Compatibility with DocMan 2.0 ? was created by pixelkraft
Hi!

Is it possible that CB Subs is not yet compatible with DocMan 2.0?

It doesn't need to be. DOCman 2.0 uses Joomla permissions and access controls, which can be controlled with CBSubs. I don't have DOCman 2.0, but I believe it no longer uses its own usergroup system so no integration is needed. Can you be more specific as to how you want it to be compatible?

Sure!

On my Joomla 3 page DocMan 2 is running with the latest CB and CB Subs.

When the docman plugin is installed and I go to CBsubs -> Plans and click on a plan, the backend crashes with following:

Error: 1146 Table 'db11114215-joomla3.woyxd_docman_groups' doesn't exist SQL=SELECT groups_id, groups_name FROM woyxd_docman_groups ORDER BY groups_name

I guess that error comes because of the missing DocMan user groups in DocMan 2.0?

The error even occures when the docman plugin is not even published. It has to be uninstalled for CBSubs to work again!

You don't need to the CBSubs DOCman plugin when using DOCman 2.0. It doesn't use its own usergroup system anymore. It uses Joomla usergroups and permissions. That plugin is for older releases of DOCman where it used its own usergroup system to determine category/file access, but that's not the case anymore.

Ok, I understand. I have to create 3 Joomla-Groups, acording to my 3 CBSubs Plans and then make sure that the users will be assigned to the JoomlaGroup when registering for a plan.

That is ok. But what about the users who are already registered? Can I assign them to a Joomla group in a batch mode?

Yup, that should work.

Yes, you can use Joomlas user manager to batch add usergroups within Users > User Manager.
