I've just updated to the latest version of CBSubs. I think I recall seeing something about Stripe integration being updated in this release but can't find the details.
Just wanted to know if there's anything I needed to do on the Stripe or PayPal side. Especially Stripe, do I need to update the API? What version do you recommend using with this latest release. Any guidance is appreciated.
You shouldn't need to do anything. We're backwards compatible with our webhook implementation and our API calls themselves are versioned. So there shouldn't be any issues as long as they didn't break webhooks since it's not possible for us to version webhooks yet as that'd require CBSubs to create the webhooks for you (something we're looking into). If a webhook breaks you'll see error log notices for it though. If you're on an extremely old API version though yes you might want to update that in your Stripe account.
As for what Stripe version we're compatible with we're currently compatible up to 2025-08-27.basil. Latest is 2025-09-30.clover, which we have not updated for yet, but since our API calls are versioned it's not a problem to set your account to it.

Thank you. I don't see the .basil option. Attached is the image of the available options. Looks like it's skipping over the .basil options. And it looks like we're on the 2022 version. Would you suggest staying with this or updating to the .clover recent?
You've already said it is okay to do that, I just wanted to confirm it's a better option than the version we're using now. Thank you!
Account API version largely doesn't matter for CBSubs Stripe since we set the version on every API call. It's primarily the webhook version that COULD be a problem since we don't create webhooks on your behalf we can't set or update their version. You're ok to go ahead and update your API version. If your webhook version is older than say 2022 then you should probably update it as well since we're only compatible as far back as 2018 I believe.
