No, that won't cause any problems. The backend integrations menu and backend plugin page for GroupJive will cause that, but it's purely a cosmetic issue. GroupJive doesn't load the plugins, CB does, it just fires triggers that the integrations act on. So your GJ integrations need to be public and published within CB > Plugin Management.
I don't know what more to suggest. By default Videos, Files, and Photos can only be uploaded by Group Moderators and greater. You need to edit your group on frontend (or backend) and within the Integrations parameter of that group is a tab for each integration. You need to set "Upload" to "Group Users" on the Photos tab. I've tested this working fine on j2.5 dev install, j3.3 dev install, and j3.3 clean test install as working fine.
