That is correct but substitutions are not affected by this and will always render the avatar path/file.

The privacy plugin acts on the field rendering by CB and does not affect the substitution value.

I do not think you can do what you want.

You can't. CB Conditional is the only option. CB Privacy does not and never will hide PHP values, which is what IF substitutions use.

That won;t work - please re-read my last post - Kyle mentioned that only approach would be CB Conditionals.
