On our notifications the event is marked as charge.dispute.created and the status is "lost"
We don't have any notifications with charge.dispute.closed or other status from Stripe.

Within your Stripe dashboard click Settings followed by Subscriptions and emails then scroll to "Manage disputed payments". Change "Subscription status" to "cancel the subscription immediately without prorating" and it will immediately cancel the subscription if a recurring payment goes into dispute.


That was already set like this :-)

Ok, looks like we need to handle the state of it immediately being lost then. This finally confirms the below ticket and am working on a fix.

Ok, a fix for this is pending review and merge. Disputes immediately lost will go into a Reversed status which will then immediately cancel recurring payments at Stripe (if the payment disputed is for a recurring subscription) instead of pausing collection.
