Strange, I went back nearly 8 months of commits to try and find a possible cause. I could not find one in the code. Then I checked PHP 8.0 instead of 8.1 and that solves the issue. So we've a PHP 8.1 bug somewhere. Am investigating further now. For now I recommend dropping down to PHP 8.0 until we can track down what's causing this.

Found the cause and am working on a fix. It was due to the following deprecation in PHP 8.1 causing a B/C break in some caching behavior. Very difficult to track down.

This is now fixed in latest CBSubs build release. Once updated you can move back up to PHP 8.1.
