It's erroring when trying to store a unicode emoji. Please be sure your database collation is correctly set to utf8mb4_unicode_ci. All your tables and the columns in those tables should have that collation. This can be set from the Operations tab in phpmyadmin for all your tables and their columns. Without the correct collation the unicode characters won't store.

Hi
It seems like I have the same kind of issue with :
System Information
Joomla: 5.0.1
Community Builder: 2.9.1
PHP: 8.2.14
Database: mysql 10.4.32-MariaDB-1:10.4.32+maria~deb10

Package
File: 000_plug_cbactivity_6.0.0+build.2024.01.09.00.36.03.2295519ee.zip
Log:
CB Activity Migration (oprhaned_activity) Failed! Please Re-Install to Retry. Error: Column 'stream_id' cannot be null

It seems to come from the autoactions that I had and which are storing activities asset like for instance  activha.group.55.event.26.activation.11827
The thing is that all stream_id referring to this kind of assets are set to zero and the installation fails.

So I'm stuck with no longer CB Activity 5 and failed installation of CB Activity 6 :-(

Thanks for letting me know what to do ?

This is now fixed in latest CB Activity build release. Please try updating again. It will skip over orphaned activity and comments it can't migrate. You will need to assign streams to those posts in CB Activity > Activity using the batch tool. There's a search filter specifically for finding orphaned posts. This is happening basically because it can't find a stream that it thinks the post belongs to and is normal when dealing with custom activity.
