[SOLVED] English Plugin for cbsubs translation not working

12 years 10 months ago - 12 years 10 months ago #166509 by paula.gomez
Hi,

I translated a lot of strings from the file english.php. Leaving the first part of the assignment statement intact and the second part translated. The frontend continues in english. I also tried installing the spanish plugin for cbsubs, and everything continues in english.

Can you help me?

Thank you,
Paula.

Hi,

did you activate the spanish language plugin?
Don´t forget to switch backend language of user in configuration to spanish.

Were you able to successfully translate CBSubs or still having issues with language plugins?

I am still having issues :( . I even made my own CBSubs language plugin in brazilian portuguese, as the documentation suggested, and still does not work. And I have switched backend language of users in configuration to brazilian portuguese.

Are none of the below complete working language packages functional for your install?

forge.joomlapolis.com/projects/lan-cb?jump=welcome

Simply install and publish within CB Plugin Management. Once done ensure you've a matching Joomla language. Now change your language to the new language and it should translate.

I am sorry, I am confused now. Aren't these packages for CB? My CB is working fine in Portuguese. I am trying to translate CBsubs.
