Restrict admin access to CB?

Restrict admin access to CB? was created by chrisjclay
Hi,

I installed CB on a client's site and they have several back-end administrators. They don't want all of them to be able to access CB - is there a way to do this? I probably could using JUGA on Joomla 1.5, but this is a 1.7 site. I found an article that seems to indicate that this isn't currently possible with CB:

... but I'm hoping it's mistaken (or outdated.)

Thanks!
Chris

Only Administrators and Super Users can access backend. Administrators have some limitations. CB doesn't utilize Assets however, which is new to J1.7. Those assets allow controlling individual permissions to different actions. Given CB doesn't have support for such a feature as of yet it's basically a cut and dry yes can they edit the user or they can't edit a user. I believe CBSubs works on backend too so I suppose that could maybe be used to protect certain things in backend from certain users. We plan to of course significantly improve this with CB 2.0.
