yes, I know, I just tried to inform jed, but not reaction. But it works fine on 1.7.
I didn't try on 2.5.1.

JEvents lets you invite users to events, review notifications for event attendance, and it even has CB integration. I recommend reviewing it below.

Eventlist works, but lacks features and isn't as well maintained (slower development cycles). I'm not saying it's not good; for what it does it does it very well, but if you need more I recommend JEvents.
